“Won’t a face oil make my skin oily?” -
Not necessarily. In fact, skin often becomes oilier when it's feeling dry or out of balance. When that happens, it may produce more oil in an attempt to compensate.
Our face oil is made with lightweight, nourishing oils like jojoba, rosehip, and sea buckthorn that help support the skin's natural barrier. Rather than sitting heavily on the surface, these oils absorb beautifully and help replenish what the skin may be lacking.
Many people are surprised to find that with consistent use, their skin feels more balanced, comfortable, and less prone to excess oil.
“Will this actually cleanse my skin or just add more oil?” -
It really does cleanse.
Oil cleansing works on a simple principle: oil dissolves oil. This blend helps lift away makeup, sunscreen, excess sebum, and the buildup from the day without stripping the skin or leaving it feeling tight afterward.
We formulated this cleanser with sunflower, safflower, and castor oils because they do an excellent job of breaking down impurities while still respecting the skin's natural moisture balance.
The result is skin that feels clean, soft, and comfortable - not squeaky or dry.
What we think you need to know about the candles -
For the best burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar the first time you light your candle. This helps prevent tunneling and encourages a more even burn throughout the life of the candle.
Because we use wood wicks, it's normal for the flame to occasionally go out during the first burn. If it does, simply relight it. Once the wick establishes itself, it will typically burn more consistently.
What we think you need to know about the cleansing oil -
If you notice some separation, that's completely normal. We chose not to rely on heavy synthetic stabilizers, so some of the richer botanical oils may naturally settle over time.
A gentle shake before each use is all that's needed to bring everything back together.
"Why does my product look or smell slightly different than before?" -
We work with real botanical ingredients, and nature isn't identical from harvest to harvest.
One batch may have a slightly deeper color, while another may have a softer aroma. These natural variations are part of working with plants rather than synthetic ingredients. While the appearance may shift slightly, the quality, care, and purpose behind each formula remain the same.
We see these small variations as a reminder that the ingredients began as living plants - not ingredients manufactured to look exactly the same every time.
